The authorised purpose for which grants can be used for are: - Assisting volunteer community organisations to provide services for the general public.
- Assisting educational services for the general public.
- Promoting amateur games or sports where that game or sport is conducted for the recreation or entertainment of the general public and shall involve but not be limited to promotion of local sorting activities and clubs with provision for maintenance and development of club activities, grounds, equipment, uniforms, trophies and contributions towards travel expenses to assist travel arrangements to tournaments and sporting events.
- Any other charitable purpose whether for the relief of poverty, the advancement of education or religion or otherwise beneficial to the community.
Grant Applications Not Considered:
- Wages/salaries will not be considered.
- Funding for the purchase of vehicles will not be considered.
- The provision of subsidy of costs of entertainment, food and beverages will not be considered.
